ABOUT GREG MILLER

Greg Miller is a father, husband, Navy veteran, and business leader running to bring thoughtful, principled leadership to Georgia’s 54th House District.

He was raised in a middle-class family alongside his three siblings. His parents instilled in them the importance of working hard, doing the right thing, and showing up for people. Greg became an Eagle Scout, and by the time he was 17, had already committed to serving his country through the Navy ROTC program.

Greg earned a scholarship to Vanderbilt University, and, after graduating, served proudly for five years in the U.S. Navy. He started out in anti-submarine warfare and later became a nuclear engineer aboard the USS Nimitz, where he led a team of about 60 sailors responsible for keeping the ship running.

After the Navy, Greg went to Dartmouth College for business school, built a career in tech and financial services, working in cities across the country before settling in Georgia with his wife nearly a decade ago.

Today, they are raising their three young children. Like many families in the 54th House District, life is busy, a little chaotic, and very centered around their Catholic faith and local community. Greg and his family are active at Christ the King, where he serves as a Eucharistic minister and volunteers with St. Vincent de Paul, helping families and neighbors who are struggling to make ends meet.

Running for office was never in Greg’s long-term plan but when he experienced his own property taxes rising dramatically, he felt a call to continue serving his community — this time in the State House. Greg has heard from parents worried about schools, families stretched thin by rising costs, and people who feel like no one in the legislature is focused on the issues that actually affect their day-to-day lives.

Greg is stepping up because he believes this district deserves serious, thoughtful leadership, not more partisan politics. He’s running as a common-sense conservative who wants to get back to the basics: making life more affordable, improving schools, supporting families, and keeping communities safe.
