About Greg Miller
Greg Millier is a Navy veteran, business professional, proud Catholic, husband, and father of three.
He served five years in the U.S. Navy, including as a nuclear engineer on the USS Nimitz, before going on to earn his MBA from Dartmouth College and building a career in tech and finance.
Greg and his family are active in their church, Christ the King, and local community groups like St. Vincent de Paul, where he volunteers to help families in need.
He’s running for State House because, like a lot of people in District 54, he’s frustrated with rising costs, struggling schools, and leaders who aren’t focused on the basics and he’s stepping up to make a difference.

Greg Miller's Priorities
Making Life More Affordable
Families in District 54 are being priced out of their own communities. Greg experienced it first-hand when his property taxes jumped 40% in a single year. That’s not sustainable for seniors on fixed incomes or young families trying to build a future. He firmly believes the government shouldn’t make it harder to afford the American Dream. Greg will fight for:
-
Responsible limits on property tax increases
-
Greater transparency and accountability in how tax dollars are spent
-
Cutting waste across overlapping local systems
Creating Jobs & Economic Opportunity
Even highly educated young people are struggling to find stable, meaningful work and families are feeling the heat. Greg brings real-world experience from both the military and the private sector. He understands how fast the economy is changing and how important it is for Georgia to stay ahead. He’ll focus on:
-
Attracting high-quality jobs to the district, not just large corporate announcements
-
Preparing Georgia’s workforce for the realities of AI automation
-
Supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs
Improving Education & Promoting School Choice
Greg believes too many families are paying high taxes for schools they aren’t confident in. As a father to three young children, he will fight to give parents more flexibility and better outcomes. Greg supports:
-
Expanding school choice options for families
-
Improving accountability in underperforming schools
-
Ensuring education funding actually benefits students
Protecting Safe, Strong Communities
Georgians deserve to feel safe whether at school, the mall, or on public transportation. Greg believes in a balanced, community-focused approach:
-
Supporting law enforcement with the resources they need
-
Improving safety in public spaces like MARTA and major retail areas
-
Investing in prevention, keeping kids engaged and families supported
Supporting Families
As a father and husband, Greg understands the pressures families face from childcare costs to economic uncertainty. In the State House, he’ll advocate for:
-
Policies that support working parents
-
Expanded access to childcare and early education
-
Tax relief for families
-
Increased access to and usage of maternal healthcare
